Walk for Unity, formerly WALK AS ONE, first held in Wichita in 2002, was created to unify communities while raising awareness of the issues surrounding bias, bigotry and racism, securing funds to support NCCJ of Kansas, now called Diversity Kansas, youth and community leadership initiatives and strengthen the impact of our work in the community. Walk for Unity is enabling us to bringing people together across the divides of race, faith, culture and ethnicity.
